Have you ever visited sunflower fields? I for one had never been to sunflower fields or even seen a sunflower that wasn’t sold in a store. I wanted to enjoy the last bit of summer and what better way than this beautiful sunflower field. Last Saturday, I visited Fausett Farms, a family-owned farm located in north-east Georgia. The drive itself is beautiful as you go along winding roads through the mountains and the countryside.

Sunflowers are the brightest and loveliest among flowers and it is hard not to be beaming with happiness when surrounded by them. I get why they are called the “happy” flower!

I had a wonderful time clicking pictures and taking funny boomerangs! I am glad I could cross this one off from my summer checklist.
P.S. The sunflower fields are still in bloom so go check it out. It is also close to the Burt’s Pumpkin Patch and Amicalola Falls.
Advice from a sunflower – Be bright, sunny and positive. Spread seeds of happiness. Rise, shine, and hold your head high.
