This indigo skirt and scarf combination is ideal for summer. It ticks all the boxes for me – cotton, block print, and indigo.
Everything I am wearing here is from Jodhpur and courtesy my mother. I love her taste in Indian wear. She had bought a matching indigo kurta, skirt, and scarf set for my sister and I wanted something similar for myself. But you can easily find similar pieces at a local garment store or retail stores like FabIndia, Jaypore, Myntra, etc. My kurta is from FabIndia and they do have an indigo collection.
The indigo skirt and scarf were bought separately from different places, yet they work well because of the color indigo. If you look closely, the prints don’t match and I like that. All the three pieces can be worn separately which gives you room to experiment and get more wear out of your clothes. The indigo scarf has traditional block print and polka dots that can be styled with simple jeans and tee-shirt outfit. The skirt is light and airy and will look great with a plan tee-shirt, crop top, or shirt. I would mostly pair indigo with white. I feel white compliments the deep indigo so well.
I like wearing cotton skirts with scarfs or tee-shirts. Anything cotton, block printed is right up my alley which is why there are similar looks on the blog too.
