Let it snow! This is exactly what I had in mind last Friday when Atlanta became a winter wonderland.
I knew it was in the forecast and I couldn’t wait to go out in the snow. Since snow is not as common here in the South, I wasn’t the only one out and about taking pictures. Even though it meant getting snow flurries all over my head. But it was so beautiful outside and essentially all I need is one day of snow to enjoy its perks without having to deal with the drawbacks. The rest of the day was spent close to the window watching the snow fall, wrapped up in a cozy robe with numerous cups of tea to keep me warm.
I bundled up for my adventure in a yellow raincoat from Land’s End, with two layers of sweater underneath it. I’ve been wanting a yellow raincoat for long but never found the right one. I bought this one online thinking I would have to return it too but it turned out to be perfect. It is the right shade of yellow (yellow dandelion, to be specific) and fit. It comes in a range of sizes for women – petite, petite plus, tall & regular.
My navy Hunter Tour boots (also a wishlist item) go so well with the yellow jacket and many other items in my wardrobe. I know they are rain boots but for light snow days, these are so easy to wear than chunky snow boots. Plus, they make the outfit look super cute without having to do anything else.
