Diwali Grandeur

Diwali Grandeur

Location – Moti Bagh, Jodhpur

Festive celebrations are in full swing as Diwali is right around the corner. This year I am super excited to ring in the festivities in India. To commemorate this special Diwali, I have something with an extra dose of glitz and glamour for this little space. I wanted to celebrate the grandeur of Diwali and indulge in the richness of our culture and heritage. So here I present to you a gamut of colorful lehengas, Rajputi poshaks, teamed with light georgette dupattas and kundan jewelry.

For once, I don’t have any brand names or style notes for you. Even when planning this photo shoot, I left the outfit selection up to my sisters who did a fabulous job in bringing my vision to reality. Speaking of my vision for this photo shoot, it was predominantly influenced by designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. It all came to life at the splendid property of Moti Bagh in Jodhpur which gave us the perfect backdrop for creating this royal Diwali shoot. The architecture reflects the heritage of Rajasthan and it transports you back to a grander time. The property is ideal for a big fat Indian wedding or any other function that requires opulent celebration.

Here’s wishing you a fabulous Diwali!

Absolutely gorgeous ladies! The background are fantastic to! I was happy to be wearing saris once when I visited Hampi and I can tell you that I felt very beautiful even though the color of the sari was not my first choice. I wish we could always dress something as beautiful as
    sari!
