I am most comfortable in cotton. Growing up I have seen my father spend a considerable amount of time choosing the right fabric read cotton for his clothing. He has been a strong advocate of wearing breathable fabric for the dry and hot Rajasthan weather. I now understand his point of view.
In this post, I am wearing a block print kurti from a boutique called COTTONS. Appropriately named, this Jaipur boutique is for the cotton aficionado. I have been visiting the store since my school days and the boutique continues to offer ethnic cotton apparel. The store started in Jaipur and has spread out to different parts of India. I paired the top with off-white cotton pants from J. Crew that are also incredibly comfortable. I accessorized the look with silver jewelry and juttis. I love the big Ganesha ring from Chhatrala Jewels that pair well with the Radha Krishna earrings from Amrapali.
