Casual Chic

Casual Chic in StripesCasual Chic is the way to dress at least for me. It is laid-back and effortless style. Unless you have a dress code to follow, casual chic is a great go-to style. You don’t have to buy trendy or expensive clothes for this. All you need is classic staples like stripes, black pants, black dress, white shirt, a great pair of jeans, tailored jacket, etc. Breton stripes are classic French style and I did a post last year called Parisian Stripes. So bear with me while I am currently buying all the stripes in the world. Am I the only one having a major moment with stripes?

So this maxi striped dress from Romwe was my first of many stripe number for this season. I instantly liked it on Amazon. It has a modest slit on both sides and the length is just right for my petite frame. The material is stretchy and spandex like, which means it is very body-con. I don’t prefer that on me though. I think a ‘medium’ would have worked perfectly for me, so I suggest going up a size. (I am wearing small.)

  • I love the pop of the red scarf! I always feel really silly with one on, but you’re rocking it!
