The long weekend is over and I am back to blogging feeling refreshed. On most long weekends we go on a trip somewhere but this time we kept it local. I am glad we did not plan a trip because I was in no shape to move around. I tried a new workout on Friday that involved a lot of squats and as a result, my legs were so sore. Just going up and down the stairs was a nightmare. We watched the biopic ‘Sachin’, did some shopping (J. Crew got me at 50%!), tried Sri Lankan cuisine and got a mix of sweet delicacies from Whole Foods. Most people go to Whole Foods for organic and healthy stuff, not me. It is my dessert haven and now I am also hooked to their chicken wings. For the last three days, calories did not count.
Now that I have rounded up my low-key long weekend, let’s talk about fashion. I had posted this Shein jumpsuit on my Insta-stories two weeks back and it was so hard to do this shoot. It was super sunny and windy, both things you don’t need on shoot day. But the jumpsuit itself is very stylish, to say the least. I like the top part with the thin straps, ruffles, and cold shoulder. Everything on trend, right? The bottom part is a culotte which is quite wide, so it does look like a maxi dress. It is a dusky shade of green with small ornate print and an elastic waist. I dressed it up with statement earrings that I have from India. Even though they have a traditional design, I quite like the pairing.
