Blue Cranes Print Blouse With Buttons c/o ROMWE (on sale for $19.99) | Abercrombie skirt (similar here) | Rain boots – Hunter Tour Packable Boots |
Simply Blue not really. Blue is a common yet dominant color in fashion, interior design, art, etc. I love the bright shades of Indigo, the soft powdery baby blues and the ever so bohemian and tranquil turquoise. I am forever intrigued with the different shades that can be created with one basic color. Today I have a slightly dusty version of blue with gray and green undertones which I am quite into at the moment. This blue cranes print blouse (quite a mouthful, I know), is made of rayon which feels lusciously soft. It not only drapes well but does not feel sticky especially when it is humid. I picked it for the print though which is really unique. I also love these Black Crane Print Wide Leg Pants from Romwe.
I paired it with a navy blue crochet skirt (last seen here) and Hunter rain boots. I have had Hunter boots on my wishlist for a year at least and got them for my birthday in April. For everyday rains in Houston, I can do away with rain boots by not stepping out. But when traveling, we don’t change our plans just because it is raining. Even though I always carry a rain jacket with me, my shoes pay the price. I did a lot of research before getting mine and would share a blog post soon for those who are looking to buy. For reference mine are the ‘Tour’ Packable Rain Boot in the color navy and gloss finish.
