Texas Bluebonnets

Texas Bluebonnets - The Vagabond Wayfarer

It is Bluebonnet season in Texas, which means fields of bluebonnets and other wildflowers are lined across the state. It’s an iconic springtime image in Texas. Even though I have lived in Texas for the longest, it was only last year that I came to know about Bluebonnets. So this year, I was all set to chase these wildflowers. If you look up pictures of Bluebonnets in Texas you will be blown away by the beauty. But most of the pictures date back to 2012 which had the best bloom season. I found a small patch of bluebonnets and wildflowers just off the highway in Brenham which is an hour away from Houston.

Coming to my outfit, I recently received this white floral shirt dress from ROMWE and I knew it would be perfect for this day. It has buttons in the front all the way down so you can adjust the front slit to your liking. The best part about the dress is the color white and the muted flowers. It spells out spring in the most subtle and chic way. The sizing on the website suggests it runs big but I am wearing size small and it fits perfectly. Also, there is no lining at the top part but a short slip can fix that.
