Stripes for Spring

The Vagabond Wayfarer, Stripes for Spring. Wearing Anokhi.

No matter what the season, stripes is always a wardrobe staple. Stripes for Spring is refreshing. It can be the main focus of the outfit or an accent piece. Today’s post features my cousin Chandrika who is wearing a Katchi cover up from Anokhi with custom made white pants. The mix of cherry and olive stripes is a step away from the classic black & white mix. The peplum flare is lovely and gives it an edge. I think it is a good transitional piece for spring, it being lightweight and easy to layer. I would have bought this for myself. To complete the look, you can’t go wrong with silver accessories and kolhapuri sandals.

This look was shot on the beautiful grounds of Umaid Lake Palace in Kalakho village in Rajasthan, this organic retreat is ideal for inbound travelers from Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur. Nestled away from the city hubbub in the Rajasthan countryside it presents an opportunity to live the slower paced life.  I urge you to experience the authentic Rajasthan in a unique way.
