Styling Blanket Scraf

Blanket scarves are oversized versions of your regular wrap-around-your-neck scarves. They are like a blanket (duh) or similar to shawls in India. They can be a bit tricky to style because there is essentially more fabric, and if not done right can look sloppy. I have had my fair share of sloppy looks in the past, but with little effort I have managed to pull together few looks with the one scarf. Here I have a thick textured blanket scarf from Zaful which is super warm. The picture online does not do justice to it, in person it is bright, colorful and thick. I feel the geometric print gives a western or Clint Eastwood esque vibe, so naturally I added my straw hat from ASOS. The skirt is from LOFT that I bought last year and the wool is so soft and ideal for fall. I finished the look with my new COACH boots from their FALL collection this year. They are super warm and stylish and the slight heel is perfect for someone like me. If you have a softer scarf you can create more looks with it, but for now I will make do with these looks. Have a great weekend.
