There have been quite a few things that I’ve been loving lately, but I think it’s safe to say that these are my current favorites.
Coffee Table Books – I know very little about decor. My mother on the other had is a pro, in the sense that she could be an interior decorator. Lately, I have started to care about how my apartment looks and have been buying decor pieces, frames, rugs and cushion covers. I love decorating with coffee table books as they usually have beautiful pictures. They also make for an interesting read or conversation starter when I have guests over. Whether you love fashion, comics, travel, or photography, there is something for everyone.
Korean Sheet Masks – I first bought them in New York at a Korean Mart in Chinatown. Since then, I have been hooked to these sheets. These sheet masks soaked in nourishing essences and nutrients are so potent, it is like having a mini facial. The Koreans are super advanced when it comes to skin care and their products are priced a lot less than the luxury beauty brands. There is a mask for every skin type and concern. I bought these Tony Moly from Amazon but you can find other brands at your local Korean grocery store, Sephora, Urban Outfitters, etc.
Fragrances – Picking a signature perfume or fragrance is tricky. Since most of my perfumes were gifted to me by my father, I never bothered to learn what scents attract me. Based on my current favorites I know that I like a blend of floral, musky and woody notes. This Narciso Rodriguez is my go to fragrance for all formal occasions. For daily wear I go for this budget friendly ($24) fragrance from Urban Outfitters.
Palm Leaf Print – This print is the perfect summer motif. It is so versatile that I have seen it on clothes, art prints, wallpapers, linens and cushion covers. It is EVERYWHERE.
Tote Bags – A girl can never have too many bags, right? Tote bags are affordable, functional and so cool to carry. I bought this R. Nichols NYC tote as a souvenir and I have been using it for my daily errands. You can find so many cool totes on Etsy, Society6 and LetterNote (India).
