And it was all Yellow

There was a time when I used to refrain from wearing yellow, especially bright/neon yellow. I used to think that it isn’t the right color for me. But as it turns out, yellow and I are friends now. I am wearing this peplum top from Forever 21 with a crochet skirt from Abercrombie. I like experimenting with bright colors and different textures to add variety to an outfit. While browsing Pinterest for some travel inspiration, I stumbled upon a small town in Louisiana called Natchitoches (“Nack-a-tish”). Next thing you know, I was in the car on my way to Louisiana. It is nice to go on unplanned vacations, especially for someone like me who who tends to plan everything if given the chance. Natchitoches is the oldest town in Louisiana established in  1714 and so there are many historic sites to visit. The town was decorated for Halloween and everything was so festive with the night lights. I strolled along the Front street which has charming little shops overlooking the Cane River. The weather in Natchitoches was pleasant and just enough chilly to throw a light jacket. It was nice to escape the city and be in a totally new surrounding with fewer people and lesser things on my mind.
